The International Labour Organization (ILO) is the tripartite UN agency which brings together governments, employers and workers of its member states in common action to promote decent work throughout the world.
Based on the after Effects of the South Asian Earthquake, ILO in collaboration with UPFBH are working towards repair/rebuild of 40 link Roads between villages in District Muzaffarabad under the umbrella of Community based Livelihood Recovery Program.
With the help of our Engineering crew, UPFBH on its part is providing the needed consultancy in the shape of technical assistance and conducting survey on behalf of ILO. This includes Identification, Location and Route Map of the Road, Technical Data describing the type of Works required such as Number of Retaining Walls, Box Culverts, Side Drains, Causeways, Pipe Culverts, Measurement of roads, Construction Material and Machinery Requirement, Works Quantification, Working Man days and Time Duration for Completion, Cost estimation of these roads, Environmental Impact Assessment, Socio Economic Impact Assessment, Identifying contractors who will build the roads and finally based on the feasibility build the roads.
Backed by a strong Technical and Engineering Manpower and our partnership with ILO, UPFBH once again made a headway in specialized construction areas…our forte.
